Annual Voluntary Faculty Conference
Voluntary Faculty Conference March 7-8, 2025- registration opens soon
What does the Conference Achieve?
Beginning in 1994 the Voluntary Faculty Program has hosted a statewide annual conference for community faculty, their campus faculty colleagues, administration, professional staff and regional AHEC staff. This conference allows the program’s constituents to develop new, and refine existing, precepting skills, as well as attend numerous sessions designed to support, enrich and enhance the professional skill and knowledge of community faculty members. The conference also provides a venue for the exchange of information and ideas among community and campus colleagues. The Voluntary Faculty Program also partners with the University and regional AHEC centers to offer short workshops in various communities throughout the Commonwealth. These workshops generally are targeted towards an interdisciplinary audience of community faculty and focus on educational issues.
Invitations to the annual conference are limited to Voluntary Faculty with an active/current appointment as well as various AHEC partners and supporters.
