UK College of Medicine and the Center for Interprofessional and Community Health Education (CICHE) lead a team that will use the grant to increase the number of primary care physicians in the state, and to encourage new physicians to practice in underserved communities upon graduation.
The Center for interprofessional and Community Health Education (CICHE) will officially open on July 1, 2022. This new center will represent the merger of two existing resources, the Center for Interprofessional Health Education (CIHE) and the Area Health Education Center (AHEC).
